Marisa, for the most part, your post here on Teresa's blog was right, in my opinion; however, being Italian myself and having my last name mispronounced since birth, I have to say, even my parents pronounce our last name the way it sounds as spoken in English, not Italian. Since Americans pronounced vowels and consonants differently than Europeans, we pronounce words and names the way you pronounce them using English. I know that you probably don't agree that proper names should be pronounced their original way but, believe me, it just makes things much easier on everyone. And, if it's good enough for my grandparents, parents, etc., it has to be fine with me, and it is. (I DO get your other points, however...). :)

Teresa you and your family need to learn how to pronounce your name. Don't give me "well we live in america". If it wasn't for you and your family's immigrant ancestors you wouldn't be living here. Its a slap in the face to those who left everything to give you what you got today. All of you need to be a little more compassionate. The shallowness of all of you is amazing and its giving intelligent, loving non judgemental people everywhere, especially italian-americans, a bad name.

My parents are from italy and I got one word for all of you. CAFONE. You all brag about being a real italian family and you can't even pronounce your names correctly. Giudice is pronounced jew dee chay. Who cares who else can't pronounce it. Its italian and you look like a super half-assed italian who dumbed it down for the populas. Teach your kids to be smart not just pretty. There is more to being italian than being a bunch of suspicious, judgemental holier than thous. Usually people like Danielle have had a lot of hurt and bad things happen to them early on and they get into anything and everything to find acceptance and love. Maybe u guys could be that for her and help change her around instead of throwing stones. If she don't change after that ok send her on her way. Being nasty to people don't make you better than them just meaner.

I love Theresa!! I deal with actual stage moms on a daily basis and she is far from it. She is the ideal dance mom for a daughter- one that is involved and totally dedicated to her daughters' happiness. God bless you and your beautiful family ( and also all the other women on the show as well), and i hope you all come back for a 2nd season! I have waited so long to see genuine women who truly put their families first in their lives like you do Theresa! Forget NYC, & Atlanta! Famiglia and loyalty lies in Jersey for sure!!

Congratulations on the new addition to your family. I know you love your girls but I hope you have a boy! : ) I didn't think you came off like a stage mom - there are crazy moms out their doing a million crazier things than you. You just tried to help her be her best. That Gia is so beautiful - those eyes are awesome. Take care of yourself and I hope your bubbies don't get too big (I got a bood job after having NO BUBBIES at all too - and had to have it revised and smaller implants put in - I didn't like the huge boobs)! : ) Take care and have fun with being preggers.

Please think twice before altering your body. So many woman would kill to have your body. If you make changes and they are not what you expect you will be sorry. I too have the less than huge boobies but let me tell you what, at 47 all my friends who were huge are tucking them into the top of their skirts and well mine little boobies are still sitting pretty, in place and proud. I cannot tell you how much I am so thankful that I didn't make changes. I did go to the plastic surgeon and receive a price and tried on the fake sizes. I then found out at the mamogram that he made me have that there was a lump. It turned out to be benign but after waiting for three days to see if it was cancer and having a piece removed I never again thought about size. I was just glad they were healthy. Please forget the size up and think how jealous everyone will be when you are still perky and they are sagging.
