You seem like a very generous, open heart person who supports her family whole heartedly. I am currently going through the same type of problems you are with your daughter (Boys, wanting to go out with friends, etc). My daughter is 12 going on to 16. Unfortunately she fights alot with us because we don't have a lot of money and are financially in trouble. My daughter doesn;t understand this and thinks she should still be able to get all these different things. It ain't gonna happen when I can't even pay bills. If you have any advice please let me know. You seem to be the type that would be good at advice along with your sister Caroline. The site asked for my e-mail so you can get it through them. I have gotten such a kick out of this show and it is because your family is so easy to embrace being a Jersey Girl myself, Bergen County at that.

BUL1SH*T !!!! do not change!! my name is Deanna (people call me dina all the time) and my daughter's name is alexis, i call her lexi... i have huge boobs too (and im italian), anyway, we laughed so hard at the "wear two bras next time" (cuz i have actually done that out of necessity honestly) and "im sweatin my balls off lexi, what do you want me to do?" we say it back and forth too each other all the time... who cares what all the stuck up soccer moms say..... keep being you.. cuz there are plenty of us blunt, call it like we see it girls out there !!!! Real Housewives has been my guilty pleasure since the "early days". This season is especially fun since Franklin Lakes, Wyckoff, and Paramus are my old stomping ground. It's great to see how much the area has changed...and stayed the same. Jersey Girls RAWK!

Has anyone else who reads The "Real Housewives" blogs noticed that the people who write to, specifically, the NJ housewives have extremely poor grammar, spelling and punctuation? Just sayin'!

Dina ~ I absolutely love the closeness that you have between your sister and your family. Although you say you didn't agree with Teresa's assessment of your family, I think she was right on point. Guess what? There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with being a hard family to get into -- what better way to weed out the fake people? (I think you know who I'm referring to here.) I would be so proud to know that my in-laws had my back and were trying to keep people like D from wreaking havoc on it. I hope future episodes shows T kicking D to the curb.

I think that you showed your true colors at the birthday party when you allowed D to actually hug you. You realized that it was a b-day party and didn't want to make a scene - very nice - I know you handled it much better than I ever would, and your actions were commendable. I think that the follow up "spa" day was just the reality check Ms. D needed (and your fans).

I hope that everything works out for your career, I'm pulling for you!

What you said about Jersey girls is so true and I love it. Not only do I watch the show cause I'm from NJ but it's interesting to see how the other half lives. I'm also in the Hospitality business and am thinking about going into event planning and catering so I find it interesting to watch and see how you guys deal with the stress of running a huge very well known banquet hall like the Brownstone. I just hope you give us Jersey girls a good name and not let people think of us in a bad light.

Dina- I love you. But, I'm confused about why you and Caroline have the last name Manzo- you didn't change your names when you got married? Caroline calls her daughter "Lauren Manzo" at some point in episode 2? But if Manzo is Caroline's maiden name, did Lauren take Caroline's last name? Maybe it's none of my business. But I'm curious. Can you explain?

I just dont understand this. Personally, it does seem as though it would be difficult for someone to get along with the women in the family. You and your sister seem like the old adult "mean girls" because you probably have had so many men in the family and used to being the only va jay jay's aroumd. Also, you contradict yourself. If you are happy that Jersey girls say what's on their minds, why dislike them for saying so and make it difficult for them to "get back in your good graces?" if you can dish it and you like it served up that way, then why so mad when you get a plate full? I am soooooo in LOVE with this show within the first 3 mins of it! How could you not be!? I grew up In Jersey and only recently moved about 3 years ago to be with the love of my life. I have not been back to NJ for fear of never leaving again. Watching you ladies and the dynamic between you guys made me so home sick again!! I just want to go back home and never leave!! My sisters and I were raised by a wonderful and strong single mother and had the most amazing bond that still to this day even though we all live in different states there is not a day that goes by that we do not speak to each other. i admire the bond and relationship you all share and reminds me of the one I share with my family and friends. Love the show. Dina I know you are married, but I have to tell you that your soft-spoken way is very striking and quite appealing. I like it a lot. Enough with that. Now, this whole 'telling it like it is' baloney is just that, baloney. People constantly confuse being 'honest' with being rude. I'm not saying you ladies or you specifically are being rude, but let's not sugar coat it, ok? Honesty is often used to be rude. Honesty can be gentle, even though it can also be unkind, but being venomous is never glamorous and it is never honest. Just saying.

I was born and raised in NJ and must say out of all the housewives (from what I've seen so far) you're my favorite, you just seem so down to earth, which as you probably realize a lot of people in NJ with money usually aren't. Don't apologize for the whole "balls" thing I think all us Jersey girls say it lol. Your sister seems really nice too, and like a lot of moms I've met over the years so tell her she's not alone with how she runs her house and The Brownstone is awesome, amazing property and food! You contradicted yourself in this blog. Referring back to point # 4 you were TRYING to make was that your sis in law was wrong when she said you are a hard family to come into. In your words you are "a very warm welcoming family" yet point # 6 says "unlike my sister Caroline I happen to like you before I don't like you". That doesn't sound very warm and welcoming to me. You just admitted Caroline chooses to not like someone even before meeting them. How is that welcoming? Jacqueline, I can see, is very tolerant and kind. I know first hand what it's like to have a judgemental bitchy sister in law and that is what you and your sister are like. Jacqueline is beautiful and kind- I think you may be a little jealous of her!

Dina, how come when you divorce your last husband you didnt get anything. who was he. And how come you been event/interior designer for, how many years but you had to move in wit your sister w/o a car. Were you broke or did you have to pay him or what!!!! I think u got a raw deal!! It's not that i'm bashn you but i think thats weird. I still lov u, you are adorable. !!! I'm very curious about you.

As a women who is a paraplegic and needs a wheelchair to get around, I must let you know that I was extremely upset as I watched you park in the handicap parking spot. I know that you have written on your blog that you moved your car after a few minutes, as well as you already had received a verbal warning from a police officer some years ago about parking in a handicap spot. As others have stated, it doesn’t seem as though you have learned your lesson. It does not matter how long you parked there, it is never okay to take a handicap parking space if you are not disabled. I looked up information about your foundation “Project Ladybug” and while I think it is wonderful that you started this foundation to help children with illnesses I feel it is just a bit hypocritical to want to help these sick children but then you park in a handicap spot. Please do not ever do this again because it is a slap in the face to anyone who really does need them.

You and the other women make it really clear to all my California friends why I am, the way I am. It IS a "Jersey Thing". I speak my mind, I don't give a crap if you like me or not. But I am more like your sister, in that I don't like people at first, then I let very few in. It's just the way I roll I guess.
