Brad Goreski

Gay Paree!

Brad talks Paris Fashion Week, vintage shopping with Rachel, and handling a crisis back home.

October 6, 2009

Paris is one of my favorite cities, but Paris during Fashion Week is EVERYTHING! For the entire time we were there, I could not believe what I was seeing. I knew it was going to be an experience I would remember for the rest of my life. Just being in Paris with Rachel was amazing, but having the opportunity to go to see the shows with her was incredible. That week we saw Stella McCartney, YSL, Giambattista Valli, John Galliano, Ungaro, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Miu Miu and of course Chanel. Each show you walk into has its own ambience - it's very theatrical. At Ungaro the room was pink and had chandeliers hung all over the runway, Galliano was at an abandoned warehouse outside of the city center. It was freezing cold and dark and then the show started and this green tunnel of light appeared and snow began to fall. It was incredible! Then there are the clothes - Stella featured a lot of lace, Chanel had amazing knits (leg warmers, arm warmers, bodysuits) and jade jewelry, Louis Vuitton had lace, frills, ruffles and brocade thigh highs!

Rachel and I had the most amazing time together. She showed me the value of shopping vintage and we did a little damage together at Didier Ludot. We were in there for almost three hours pouring over everything. That shop is a goldmine and Didier is one of the sweetest men I have ever met and his dogs were sooo cute. They made me miss Jasper! I walked out of there with a vintage cream leather Dior trench. I love it. We also went to Scarlet, which is a vintage store that specializes in vintage Hermes and Chanel, and I bought an amazing Chanel briefcase from the early 1990s. Rachel also found a gift for Taylor here - a vintage red crocodile Hermes cuff. Between our shopping excursions, shows, fantastic dinners and a little dancing, it was a trip I will never forget and I am so glad to have been there with her.

Brad - I think you're doing a great job. I think you should continue being more assertive and everything else will fall in line.

Brad,
I love the white and black letterman blazer you wear in Milan. Who is the designer? You totally rocked it and I love your new wardrobe choices!

Hi Brad-

You posted on twitter last night that the Amber sunglasses you wore are by Oliver Peoples. What is the color and name of the frame? Thanks!

I absolutely love you. Soooooo glad you got to go to Paris. I thought it was uncharacteristically nice of Taylor to allow it. You seemed to be the only person she was kind to. Really a screaming bitch most of the time. What exactly did she do to get herself fired? Why do I think she stole something? Anyway, you will shine in her spot and I believe you have a very exciting future ahead of you. Best of luck! Remember to enjoy yourself.

Brad,

I watch you on the show and really it just makes my day. I hope to be there someday, but living in Montana makes it hard. One day I hope to be where you are. Rock on Brad.

Shane...

Hello I am charmed with Brad your personality for this work, I believe that you grew very much. I look always at the program, am from Argentina. I am charmed with it(him, her, you) all related to the production, fashionable, of events (at what I am employed), I was in radio(radius), and others. Kisses

brad, I think that you are amazing on the show. It's nice to see that you are being yourself. You have been one of my favourite people since grade 7. Don't ever lose faith in yourself because you are a great person.
from back home

Brad-

You are a great, caring person! And I must say you are in the right business...you have style and it is obvious that style is your passion. You are supportive to Rachel and you are a hard worker. And 100% YOU were the right person to go to Paris! Keep up the good work!!! Love Ya!

OMG!!!!!!
I love you so much Brad!!!!
You rock!
I love all of your little sayings and your outfits!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You all got me addicted to this show!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are my FAVORITE on the show! You keep me entertained that's for sure.

Brad,

Your the best on the show. If you left the show, there would be no Rachel Zoe show.

Brad -

You are adorable and I really enjoy watching you on the show. Please tell me (or anyone who might know) who makes the fabulous gold shoes you brought with you to Paris. They showed them in the scene where you are talking about unpacking strategically. They are amazing!

I love watching you. You remind me of a kid in a candy store and are one of the greatest personanilities to enter reality tv.
love paris , love the shows and all the juicy juicyness that goes on. Was disappointed to see the lack of diversity ethnic wise on the runways. was I just seeing a portion?

thanks!

Your legs DO look good in the short-shorts!!!!

Hey Brad !!!< i love to wacht the show, i love fashion since i was born, i think u are a very cool guy Brad, and also very sexy, im in Washington DC, i wish i could be in California to get to meet u guys, but i think now u guys are like a celebryties, but congrats, for your good performance..and also Joey love him he is so funny, and sexy as weel , love you guys.....

Hi Brad,

I really like you because you are basically down to earth. I've never missed an episode but was disappointed that you didn't offer to stay back and let Taylor go to Paris. You were blessed to have gone to the Oscars and I felt she should definitely have been the one to have gone to Paris. It was really big of her to step down and allow you to go. Anyway....love the show and hope you will all come back next season. I think Rodger will be able to keep you and Taylor in line (ha-ha)..I think Rachel needs a break from all the drama that you two cause.
Terri

Brad.
Firstly what can I say? I worked as a fashion stylist in NYC over 20 years ago and know it is one tough job. Brad, I think you are one talented and tasteful guy. Dressing celebrities, working on photo shoots and pulling clothes is no easy task and you do it so well. I enjoyed the Paris episode and loved the visit to Coco Chanel's apartment. It really blew me away. I could just imagine what it was like for you to me there in person. Good for you. Brad, I really watch the Rachel Zoe Project because I am truly a fan of yours. I especially love the attitude and devilish laugh you have. I adore your fashion sense too and of course you are one handsome guy. Continue giving Taylor fever because she deserves it. Brad, she has no taste as far as I am concerned, just look at her.
Continued success.
A fan in Atlanta.
Lon

Did anyone else catch Brad checking out the second male model from behind?
Just my opinion here, Brad pulled off those shorts. I hope more men take note and start dressing a little more rather than letting their boxers hand out!

Well first off I am putting in my name as so others can not be accusing of others.

You are a nice guy, really but to nice as far as the intern..you need to delegate better. You are there to teach her, and tell her what she is expected to do..you are not there to be her best friend..friends are great in the work place but work is work..and she walks all over you.

The other thing is you need to step it..seriously..you have been on the show long enough now you should now your daily, weekly tasks those should be made out..and done..with no excuses..if you delegated some of it out to the intern..make sure she is doing it, doing it correctly, and verify when it is complete..if not then take ownership of it.." Well I just" is not an excuse! Other tasks that are delegated to you from Rachel and Taylor should be also wrote down and done..learn how to multitask better..if a daily task is not completed because of another pressing delegated matter then do that first and go back to finish your list..!

In other words take more initative! The last show with the photo shoot, no it was not right for Taylor to ask to go home simply because she was bored..but did any of you three think to start to pack and clean up the mess of shoes and clothes all over the floor..while the shoot was going on..? Would have saved more time and kept you all busy..what a waste!

I'm suspicious about the "viewer" that is making the comments that Taylor should have gone to Paris instead of you. It would be soo funny if Taylor was the originator of those blog comments.

Brad, I love you!!!! You would be the kind of best friend I would love to have. I would not have given up the oppotunity to go to Paris for anything. Taylor should be much more upbeat, happy and appreciative like you are, then maybe things would go her way sometime. READ "THE SECRET" TAYLOR!!! BE MORE LIKE BRAD! "The Secret" works. I have a business, a rustic furniture store, and everything changed for me when I read the secret.

Brad - You are wonderful for team Zoe. I love watching the show and hope that you all can achieve your dreams. Rachael has so many talents but you and Taylor are definatly part of the RZ brand. We hope to see more of you. Good luck.

Brad; I love you. You are amazing on the show and a great representative of the gay community. My friends and I love to see you on the show. My boyfriend loves it as much as I do.

brad you should have been a man haha and let taylor go to paris she has been with rachel the longest and it was her dream

I think that you should be thankful that Taylor is a team player. She is the one that deserved the opportunity to go to Paris. Between you and her she works hard and she is being longer with Rachel. You should work a little bit harder and as well as other viewers hoppefully you brought her a gift.

Hi, Brad!

I fell in love with ya at first sight since the show started last year. You look so cute in the bow ties! I am impressed by how you survive the tough times and battles in the house of RZ with your sense of grace and determination. Keep it up! Don't let anything negative to bring you down!

Besos!

P.S. you should give Taylor as a thank you gift by bringing her to Paris since she let you go to Paris instead of her.

Brad, I just have to gush over your wardrobe! You and I share a love for Mr. Ralph Lauren. I love that you rocked a bow tie with a Ralph Lauren polo shirt. In the words of Miss Rachel Zoe, "I DIE." I do not know how much spare time you have, if any at all, but can you please put together a book of all your fashion(s).

Brad! I have been one of your bigges5t fans since the show started.
I totally am glad you went to Paris. You always attend everything with Rachel and never Bitch. You truely LOVE it. You were so much fun to watch and I have to agree with Rachel you NEEDED that trench. It was made for you but borrowed by someone else first. I love watching you. Please keep your head up even through the tough times, you have one of the most wonderful jobs EVER. I am so jealous about the Chanel show. LOVE LOVE LOVE you. YOUR Bananas!

I like you Brad and think you are an accomplished team member. But regarding Paris, I think Taylor should have gone...she's been with Rachel the longest and she's good at what she does. You owe her big time for your Paris trip.

Cato (Rachel)! Cato (Racehl)! I don't want to play anymore! Come Out! *Love* the coat. Truly awesome.

Did you ever think about getting Taylor gift...after all she is the reason you got to see those amazing shows and have such a fantastic time. I think a little thank you gift would have been appreciated and appropriate.

OMG Brad that trenchcoat looked AMAZING!!!! Seriously you should have seen me shouting at the TV just now "Brad you HAVE to get the trenchoat!" It looked PERFECT on you!!! My bf thinks I'm crazy. You will just kill when you're in NYC next. I'm so glad Rachel made you buy it! xox

Brad, I have to say all of you looked amazing in Paris, but when you and Rachel were on the street in front of Coco Chanel's townhome, You looked so amazing from head to toe. I actually gasped. Perfection! You guys make such a great team it is a pleasure to watch the show. Kudos to all of you..

Margie

Brad: I think you're a real cutie and I'd love to introduce you to my nephew! However, would you all PLEASE look up the meaning of literally. If Rachel literally died over some fashion she would be dead, literally! And the entire team was not literally in Paris since Taylor was not there. It may seem petty, but when one butchers the language they sound uneducated, which I doubt any of you are.

Brad, you are the best! Team Zoe is lucky to have you!!
