We started with a Mini Challenge of making a campaign shirt for a girl running for class president at her school. My shirt was themed "Mean Girls" but I did not understand exactly what a "mean girl" was. Danielle explained to me that a mean girl was similar to a drama queen. I hated it.
For the elimination challenge we had to include our shirt theme somehow into a new garment. Horrible. I had to transform an ugly duck into a swan. I was a little disappointed and frustrated because I wasn't 100% sure what a mean girl was and didn't know how they dressed. So I made my own version of a "mean girl." I think each one of us has some sort of mean girl quality inside us and we use it when it's convenient to disguise ourselves and stay in the social world we'd like to stay in. I ended up winning the challenge, but I think Lidia should have won because she was the wisest in this challenge.
I have realized that Havan, Danielle, and Anna think that they can go through life pushing and trampling everything that is in their way. The cameras do not show who they really are.
Barbie is not more than the competition but in all the ways that follow I'm thinking that Haven does not have anything in her head and it is contaminated by the aerosol that she uses for her hair but it's good because it acts like an exterminator and kills off all the flies. Kisses, Barbie.
I'm a professional designer with years of experience over and beyond some of my competitors. Although this challenge was outside of what I do in my normal day-to-day business, I'm a professional and can pull a little magic out of my hands to pull off any challenge. My outfit was totally wearable and my idea of a "Mean Girl" is a snooty uptight woman, the kind you might find in Bel-Air.I was a little disappointed because I ended up in the top two in this challenge alongside BARBIE. It's like comparing me with a bicycle without wheels, Lidia i feel would have been a much better match.
When I become rich you will be the first person I call to design my clothes, love your taste:)

I am so glad somebody here can keep the viewers with reality. The show has hidden the true designers, the real talented designers, that should get the credit they deserve. Some are only viewed more to get ratings. So good job merlin for keeping the viewers updated! You are truly an inspiration and you're style is incredibly unique! Keep telling it like it is.

I don't get the Barbie reference for Haven at all. Barbie dolls have big boobs, long fake hair, tacky clothes. Hollywood 60s starlet-style. I think she has talent and is working hard to sew her garments. Johnny is the one who doesn't belong in this competition. It's not Summer Camp for lazy designers. He doesn't even want to win this competition, so why is he there?

Thank goodness that you are in the fashion business. Its refreshing to see your desire to create beautiful things and not having gone to fashion school. Now thats good! I am wondering if Danielle has always been this mean. I consider her to be extremley unprofessional. Ignore her!

I loved the outfit you designed for the mean girl outfit. It was sexy and colorful. The wide hip with the thin belt brought my attention to it and it would be beautiful on any thin girl with the right figure. It made me wish I was thinner. Let me know when it goes on sale. It would look perfect on my sister.

I think that you are a very talented designer and I am proud to now that you're Honduran as I am. However I am extremely disappointed to the fact that you called our Beautiful Country a "JUNGLE" on last competition. Perhaps you had a very difficult life when you were living in Honduras; I did have some troubles of my own, but I will never, ever put my own heritage and an entire country down like you did. Shame!
You're great. Be judicious about the editing, and the fabric choices. You can win this all, hermano.

Oh, and when you all were on teams and you checked Daniella when you let her know that you were the leader---PRICELESS! Stay true to yourself and as long as you are a person who is open to new ideas and knows how to remain teachable, you are headed to the top. I always tell myself that no matter how much I know, I am teachable because I don't know everything.

You are wise. Your garment was so cute, not for me (age) but I could totally see my 24 year old niece wearing it. She loved it, she does not write to the show, but I do. Those pants fit the model like a glove and made her derriere look perfect. I believe you are going to sell a lot of them.
I also loved Lidia's garment, it was my favorite, the jumper, overall, whatever you call that, was so different, and with the red belt, and the shoes, wvwrything looked good. I say you are wise because you saw that she should have been there with you.

I for the life of me do not understand why Bravo has them change the winning designs so much! I loved this top the way that you made it and could not wait to buy it, but i will not be buying now that I see what changes they made to it.
