I was especially nervous to see this episode. I exposed my family life including some personal moments and wasn’t sure how it would pan out. So I’ll get right into it. When I’m in the Hamptons, I’m in my true comfort zone; it’s my home. There, I spend time with my sister Chelsy- who you’ve met this episode.
Chelsy is the most incredible person, and I admire her greatly. She currently is working on her Masters Degree and just started a non-profit organization for disabled people- all at the age of 21. Chel’s website is www.cdisabilitycenter.com. Check it out- it’s an incredibly worthy cause and really inspiring to watch my sister's hard work start to pay off. Other than spending time with my family, I get to enjoy my mom’s cooking! I’m also able to see and be with my best friends who live out there year-round, and of course, I get to be with my dogs too.
In this episode, you witness the passing of a very important member of my family. If you have a dog, or really any pet, you know that they become a really significant part of your life, so it was very painful to watch and basically relive that sad moment. With the cameras there, it turned a very private matter-public, which made it harder for my family and me. Lilli was, as you all saw, an adorable and loving dog who meant a lot to us, and we miss her everyday.
Hey Kelli,
You do have an amazing voice, good luck to you in your career.
I see a lot of people have asked about your boots and clothes.
Not sure if you will get around to answering, but I would love to know what watch you are wearing.
Kelli where did you get your wedge fur-lined boots!!!
That was so sad about your dog, we love ours very much and can't say we are sorry enough.
My friend takes vocal lessons with your coach and she is doing so well. Glad you picked the right one, Badiene will get you where you want to go if YOU do the work she asks of you. Those first three were crackups, where did you find them?
It looks like you won't be giving Sebastian any play in the next episode, we applaud you for this, he is cute, but still so young and juvenile, you seem way more grown up and he wouldn't be able to impress you for long. He seems to need to impress girls so that would be a total loss all the way around.
Who is the voice coach that you found? I know her first name is Vicky. Can you please give me her last name as well. In addition, could you please give me her phone #? Thanks so much. I really appreciate it!
Kelli! That voice teacher looks amazing!! I mean, I can't believe that she offered to get you a demo, and rework your entire look after only one lesson. What is her name again? I'd really like to take lessons with her. If only they had reality shows about singing teachers... maybe then I could learn a lot about singing without breaking the bank. You sound amazing though, best of luck with everything.
i am a composer and you have a great voice-good luck to you.
You should audition for american idol.
My dog is 10 and watching that episode made me really sad. I could only IMAGINE what you went through and I fear that day! So sorry for your loss and I know it hurts everyday. It hurts me everyday when i see my dog limping cuz he has athritis and that in a few years i'll lose him. I'm getting all teary :(
But I do think you dress fabulous and from what I heard so far of your voice you sound great! I would totally listen to your music, and sing along acting like my voice is similiar to yours. Using the hairbrush as my mic of course. :P
Dear Kelli,
First of all, I'm very sorry for your dog, we just had to put ours down this week and I've been a complete mess.
Secondly, on the topic of voice coaches/ teachers. Why aren't you looking into the voice faculties of Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music and Mannes College of Music? Most (not all) of these teachers have private studios AND can teach different styles other than classical. Take Trish McCaffrey for instance, she teaches every style from Pop to Broadway to Opera, AND has students on TV, Broadway and at the Metropolitan Opera. Or Arthur Levy who teaches Audra McDonald from Private Practice. I'm sure you've found someone by now, but I would REALLY suggest checking into these faculty listings. Anyhow, I'm sure that with the timing of the show, things are going really well, but just so you know... :-)
My condolences on your loss. I went through a very similar situation when I was sixteen and I think I know exactly how you feel. I thought it was very brave to allow cameras to capture you at such a vulnerable state. I don't think I could have done that. I hope every thing is well and the show continues to be a success(if it ended I would flip!I'm kinda addicted. LOL) and that your singing career takes off ( I want to hear more of your music BTW).
Best of luck,
Will
You are smarter and a better person than the rest. Don't get caught up in the BS...you're better than that.
Hi Kelli,
I'm sorry about Lilly - she's up in heaven now. Yes, animals can become as close to us as humans, so I perfectly understand your family's loss with Lilly's passing. I understand your not wanting to speak at her funeral, people express grief in different ways, so it's okay.
Good luck to you, I think you are very nice and pretty as well.
Hey Kelli,
I just read the New York Magazine, where they did that whole story on NYC Prep, and New Jersey Housewives. Even though they worked real hard to try and put a negative spin on the reality show, I still think it's great that you did it. Anyone in show business knows how valuable face time is.
Also, the article says that you don't really live alone. I was telling people, how New York City kids are mature beyond their years and it is ok for them to live that way on their own. I was totally buying it!
I liked Sebastian's Dad. His advise was "just don't let it get in the way." He seemed very aware that the show could be a distraction and was reminding Sebastian to remember to focus on school.
I have been very amused so far. Keep it up!
I,m sorry you lost your dog. She live a good life I,m a groomer Iv,e groomed so many dogs Ive even watched then from puppy to get old and sick but sometimes there miss but there in a better place. When a dogs in pain they dont live in the momnet, and you have to live in the momnet
Kelli, get over Sebastian! I mean it's great that you r friends, but he did go out with Taylor more than you. And kissed her more than once. Listen to me!!!!!!!!!1
What wedge boots was Kelli wearing in the last episode when she was talking to Camille outside?
I'm so sorry about your dog. I can only imagine how sad that must have been for you and thank you for sharing.
Overall, I'm a fan of yours, but what was up with you at the party you went to when Cole and Sebastian both showed up for Taylor? I thought it was immature/weird how you invited Taylor to the party and also invited Sebastian to the party so you could see the two of them interacting together. The immature part was that you set up the situation and then made a big deal and cried about seeing the two of them together. You are a gorgeous young lady and you can do sooooo much better than Sebastian. Being friends with him is okay, but please don't lower yourself by ever hooking up with him! You deserve so much more!
Stay sweet and good luck with your singing!
So sorry about your dog. I can truly appreciate what you went and are going through as I just lost my 15 and a half year old last month. Maxie was a Bichon/Poodle mix and looked a lot like Lilli. Like you, my son, who is almost 20, really didn't remember life without her. I am so glad that he was home from school when we had to make the difficult decision to have her put to sleep. But we were all with her and that was good. Unlike your dog, we chose to have Maxie cremated so she will always be home with us.
I love your hair, it is so long :)
Also, I am sorry about your dog. That had to be pretty hard, and to have it on TV.
Yes tell us where your wedge boots are from!!
YOU ARE MY FAVORITE :)

Hey Kelli,
wow, I really enjoy watching you on the show. I live in a smaller town so it's fun to see how you live your life. Im 15 and I'm going to NYC in about a week with a couple of friends. What restaurants/ shops/ sites would you suggest? Also, I'm sorry about your amazing dog. She was a cutie.
As Always,
Madison
P.S. Luv your style. Where do you get most of your clothes?
Dear Kelli-
I lost my precious dog Chelsea this past May 13, so I was able to relate to how you and your family felt after Lilli's passing. The burial ceremony for Lilli in the snow out in the Hamptons was very touching. People who don't have animals have no sense of how devastating it is to lose a pet, a true member of the family. Your profound sadness and that of your family is certainly understandable. My advice is to focus on how blessed Lilli was to have had such a loving and caring family for all her years. That thought has helped me cope with Chelsea's death. Take care and hang in there.

P.S. I also recommend that you make a donation to an animal protection charity in Lilli's name.
Kelli,
I think you are a great role model, please dont change. In one of the shows you state that your family means every thing to you. I am alot older then you, however you seem to be very mature for your age. Dont ever let boy drama, change you and most important dont let anyone change who you are. I can only hope when my son gets older he is able to find a girl as sweet as you. I think you like your sister will do many great things in life.
Kelli,
I watched the first show no to sure it would be any good. I think out of everyone you seem to be very smart, sweet,a wonderful person. I dont think anyone will every pick a the loss of a pet. I have an older sister who spent over $800.00 to save a hamster, that didnt make it, now she has two Yorkie's that are so sweet. When watching the show, she and I both cried. I am so sorry you lost your dog, but dont ever feel bad for being sad. I think people forget that animals are extended family, no they arent human. Recently I watched a video online about a dog saving his friend. In the video one dog is hit by a car, the second dog could have got off the interstate and been safe. He didnt in the video you can see him, protected the injuryed dog by placing his body over the injuryed one. Then the dog starts pulling his injuryed friend off the interstate. If you get a chance please check it out, http://www.break.com/index/dog-saves-best-friends-life.html - 89k . So dont ever feel silly just because its a dog, because in all reality they are never just a dog, instead they are fury family that never really grow out of the two's.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your dog. It was really sad. But he is in doggy heaven now. :) Well, I really seem to like you and Taylor the most. You're sweet and like everyone says, Sebastian is not worth getting in the way of you and Taylor's friendship. He's not worth it, since he's a player. Anyways, can't wait to watch the rest. Oh, and keep us updated on your music. I'd really like to give a listen to your tunes. :]
Be smart young lady- like I know you are.
Don't fall for the elusive bad boys. Make them work for your attention. If you decide to pursue Sebast... play his game better than he does.
i love this show so so much. you and taylor are my favorite people on the show and you both come off as really down to earth &+mature. im not usually into reality shows, but nyc prep is a new recent obsession of minee.
:)
Okayyy....
well first off i would like to say that you are a very intelligent girl....when I watch the show I look at you and to me it screams out fashion.
However, you and Taylor need better. Sabastian is "cute" don't get me wrong...but he is a very big player how I see it. I believe that if you and Taylor continue to try to mess things up with each others relationships with Sabastian it may affect your friendship and no boy is worth that.
until next time<3
always,
Oliviaa:)
you're my favorite and thank you for letting us into your home. it was nice to meet your family and i'm so sorry about the loss of your dog. i also think it's so nice that you posted your sister's site and you are so supportive of her. can't wait for next week and i hope we get to see you sing soon.
Kelli-
First of all, I just have to say that of all the "characters", you come off the most level-headed and kindest. (I say this with a grain of salt, because I know the reality of reality shows is to pick a tiny slice of the whole pie and only represent that angle.) However, you are well-spoken, sweet, and totally adorable.
I would also like to give you kudos for having the chutzpah to let the cameras follow you around on such a personal and gut-wrenching day in your life. It's refreshing to see "the elite" go through something that everyone else goes to you. Props to you.
Keep up the good work, cutie!
I'm so sorry about the loss of your dog! You seem like a really sweet girl. Don't get caught up in the drama of high school, and realize you deserve better than Sebastian. :)
As sad as it was to see you bury Lilli, you're able to keep her memory alive in so many ways. Made me think of my doggie and how he's such a part of the family now.
I was so sad watching your family and you mourn the loss of your dog. I lost my dog two years ago and it was the worst feeling ever. Thank you for sharing that private moment with us...I looked at your sisters site and it looks great I think its amazing how supportive and loving you and your family seem. Can't wait till next week and I hope we can hear you sing soon!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your dog. I know how hard that must be for you & how sad it is. Thank you for sharing it. Thank you to your family as well.
You are my FAVORITE character & I just love your family! I wish nothing but the best for you.
Keep being real. I hope the fame doesn't ruin what a sweet girl you are.
I also checked out your sister's website & it's just truly inspiring. I wish there was more people like her!
