Bravotv.com: We have the finale. First, the three guys have to shoot those Polaroid pictures and it was kind of less is more in those pictures. Do you think that is harder to do?
Yeah, it’s just like an actor playing himself. It’s harder to play yourself than to play someone else.

Bravotv.com: What did that opportunity mean for them to shoot with that camera and that photographer?
It’s a once in a lifetime event. Probably by now, there’s not that much film left in the world for that camera. So, not too many people are really going to have a chance to shoot with it. I was fortunate to shoot with it at least three times in my career. And I also got to shoot with it while we were on the set as well.

Bravotv.com: Who do you think did the best in that part?
I believe it went to, I have to say, the first was Branden, then the second was Sandhurst, and then Jonathan. And then once they got to the photo shoot at Cosmo, Jonathan just did the same pose. Even when they were asking him to change, he still didn’t change. He just stood there. And he even admitted, “Yo, I’m stuck in neutral.” I guess under all that pressure, he couldn’t suffice. And then again, Sanhurst, when he was asked to do something, he too couldn’t portray that sexy. And then when Brandon was up there, he just had fun with it.
I think in the last episode you see Branden having the most fun, which helped determine why he was the winner. So, that’s why it came in third, second, first, the way that it did.

Bravotv.com: Do you think the right person won?
By that, episode, yeah, I think so. He clearly was the one to accelerate when it needed to be accelerated and I personally thought Sanhurst was going to take it but he fell short with the Cosmo cover. And then he did the thing of taking his shirt off, which loosened him up, but you’ve got to be able to keep your shirt on and still do the job.

Bravotv.com: And the final catwalk. You’ve kind of been critical of Branden’s catwalk. Did you see an improvement?
Yeah, It’s definitely better. It’s not up to supermodel status but that’s what the cards dealt. It definitely got better because he took my advice and kept his hands in his pocket so it avoided his arms looking like they were swaying. He’s got this "hip-hop homeboy" style of walking when his arms are out.

: 06/24/2009 - 10:25am; Elke; I agree with many of the viewers: Sandhurst should have been "the chosen one". He rocks, and I am sure his career will be more visible than Brandon´s. Brandon will get lost in the shuffle. He is just too ordinary. Nice kid though.
Please get rid of Nicole next season. It hurts to just listen to her. She kind of clenches her teeth and doesn't open her mouth, and no personality. She should take a lesson from Ms. Shimizu.

: 06/14/2009 - 2:00pm; lorin; Tyson, you and I know very well know that Sandhurst should have won ! Sandhurst was robbed from winning that competition and contract. Sandhurst from the very beginning until the end was consistently the best and had great showmanship. Although you are my favorite Supermodel "Tyson", I believe that Sandhurst will be bigger than you and hopefully beyond a soon-to-become-supermodel, he will unlike you have an acting career as well!!!

: 06/10/2009 - 2:49pm; Viewer; I think Sandhurst should have won hands down. Jonathan coming in a close second. But Brandon?? I did not see that coming. When Tyson made the comment that Sandhurst had the body of a supermodel and the face of an accountant, what the heck did that mean. The only thing that made sense is the show is called "Make me a Supermodel". Sandhurst has what it takes to be a supermodel and the judges did not see him as a challenge. Anyway, I love the show and cannot wait until next season.
P.S. Get some new judges, they were really quite nasty and non of them had room to be, except Jenny Shimizu. I could not wait to see what shoes or outfit she would be wearing.

Johnathan and Sandhurst were amazing models as well but they did not need this win as much. Im sure they could walk into any modeling agency and book jobs immediately.

: 06/09/2009 - 1:21am; Viewer; ok, if you wanted to choose 'most improved', then maybe Branden. But 'supermodel'? very poor decision. I thought Branden's final photos that the judges were raving about were very odd-looking. And suddenly Jonathan has become 'forgettable'? In what way? He has a rugged, out-of-the-ordinary look. What a bizarre decision! Really annoying. Just makes me think you judges don't know what you're doing!
